''Harvey W. Scott'', or simply ''Harvey Scott'',〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://siris-artinventories.si.edu/ipac20/ipac.jsp?&profile=all&source=~!siartinventories&uri=full=3100001~!13619~!0#focus )〕 is a 1933 bronze sculpture by Gutzon Borglum depicting American pioneer, newspaper editor and historian Harvey W. Scott, located at Mount Tabor Park in the Mount Tabor neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
==Description and history==
The statue is a bronze portrait of Harvey W. Scott, an American pioneer best known as the long-time editorialist of ''The Oregonian'', wearing a knee-length coat and with his right arm extended and pointing. It was designed by Gutzon Borglum, originally modeled in 1930 and dedicated in June 1933. Kunst Foundry served as the foundry. The sculpture measures x x and rests on a stone base which measures approximately , x x . The plinth's side edge reads, , while its back edge contains the inscription, . The front of the base reads: .〔
The sculpture was surveyed and considered "well maintained" by the Smithsonian Institution's "Save Outdoor Sculpture!" program in November 1993.
